The Mediterranean Journal of Hematology and Infectious Diseases was founded by Giuseppe Leone, Professor of Hematology at the Catholic University of Rome, in 2009, with the collaboration of Prof. Eligio Pizzigallo, Infectivologist, and Prof. Luigi Maria Larocca, Pathologist.

The Journal publishes original articles and topical reviews concerning both clinical hematology and infectious diseases. A particular attention will be deserved to original article focusing on the relationship between blood and infectious diseases.
